AMH (Anti-Müllerian Hormone) – Hormonal Testing Program for Women

This is a blood test that evaluates ovarian reserve by measuring the level of Anti-Müllerian Hormone (AMH), a hormone produced by the ovaries. AMH plays an important role in regulating estrogen production in women. By measuring AMH levels, we can assess how well the ovaries are functioning and whether they are within a normal range.
As such, AMH testing is commonly used in fertility evaluations and treatments for the following purposes:

  • To help determine a woman’s potential for fertilization
  • To evaluate ovarian reserve (the capacity of the ovaries to produce eggs)
  • To assess the risk of Ovarian Hyperstimulation Syndrome (OHSS), which can occur during fertility treatments

This test can indicate how many eggs may still be present in the ovaries.
A major advantage is that the test does not require fasting, and results are typically available within 2–3 hours.
